I didn't realized what a homebody my friend Sharon was until I visited her today.  That's not a bad thing though. Not running around everywhere was kind of nice for a change. I was amazed that she was able to manage to do almost everything at home. It must be nice not having those long commutes. She works from home, does her shopping online and, as far as managing her diabetes, she has several home glucose monitor options to choose from. I know for my job it takes at least two hours on a good day to get to my office. I'm kind of wishing I was able to have the kind of freedom that Sharon does. I always find it really interesting to see how other people live. It was so nice to see her after all this time. She's someone I went to college with and then we moved to different states but now we're both in Chicago. Anyways, I feel like I know her better now than I ever did. We decided to rent some movies and catch up on the latest bits of news about our other classmates. So far she's the only one who's been able to be as self-sufficient. It's pretty impressive!
